About five to six seminars are scheduled in the program, usually come in the afternoon hours. The speakers are Peking University professors, usually joined by an interpreter. The seminar topics are quite inclusive, constituting a pool for us to draw from, or a menu for us to “order” from. Usually we will select topics surrounding the theme of the year, so the seminars may be different from year to year. But one thing in common to these seminars is that they all address the subject of Chinese culture, society, and history.  See the “schedule” for details.
